Thanks…i have been looking at this for over a year…and i cant wait to get it..I have been transitioning for 1 yr and 5 months….so i wanted something that was really safe for my hair, and i only use heat a few times a year..Great review……

Great review. Does it give the steam on its own or do you up water in it? Your hair came out lovely!
You have to make sure the resouvier is filled with water so it can disperse steam when u press the button.

u know i bought the larger 1 last year i luv the way it left my hair but i had the hardest time trying to manipulate it. i love the flat plates, those teeth had me cryin!
@mechelly36 that iron takes practice to get use to.
I’m going to have to see how the maxiglide works on your hair at 10 months post relaxer. I’ve been watching that flat iron for a while.
I had eyed this iron for yrs but now that I am going to transition I decided to give it a try and I must say I love it,it leaves my hair feelin so soft, softer than any of my other flat irons not to mention it really blends my newgrowth in with the relaxed portion of my hair so far.

Thanks for responding, I have the maxiXp with the mini glide. I do not like the xp but I used the miniglide to flatiron my roots of my bang area and liked the results. Your review and the fact that the miniglide has teeth that you can not remove makes me think maybe I should try to flat iron just like you said. Small sections and with the teeth plate.
@MochaSmooth247 It really does work if u do small sections and you make sure it is detangled. I know it took practice but I like the results that I get..
