I just returned a Black and Decker…had a Sunshine….and a Proctor Silex…..
I just got a Shark Euro-Pro 1700 watt steam iron from BJ’s- nearly and read like 100 bad reviews on it when I got home.
I am seriously sick of buying irons again and again!
What is the best one in performance and durability ?
Please help!!

According to Consumer Reports (one I trust a lot), the best iron is the Rowenta Expert Steam Generator DG980. But it’s priced over $200. The best values are Black & Decker Digital Advantage D2030 ($50), Hamilton Beach Professional 14970 ($45) and Sunbeam Professional 4238 ($50). Based on their reviews, I purchased the B&D D2030 and have been happy. BTW – there are 100′s of bad reviews online for even good products, don’t let that get you down too much.
